The Nature of Our Products:

Each item from Mandalay Home Furnishings, Inc. is meticulously constructed from start to finish.
Some traditional "Old World" methods are used in the construction and finishing of these unique accent pieces. The individual workmanship may cause slight differences in measurements and finish.
We partially use solid wood for our products. Due to its nature, the wood will constantly respond to its environment, therefore, the furniture has a subtle distressed look.  Some splitting, cracking, chipping, and glazing may occur.  Thus, this imperfect nature of the wood and finishing methods create an antique but spirited look that is part of the appeal of the antique reproduction products.
Therefore, please be aware that these blemishes and imperfections are non-structural in nature and are to be expected.

Order Term:

The following information must be provided on the purchase order:
1.  Item #, Description, and Quantity of pieces desired
2.  Requested Delivery Date
3.  Preference for handling freight charges:
         - Collect or third party billing
         - Transportation company information if available
4.  Name and telephone number of contact person
5.  Purchase order must be signed
6.  If ordering a bed frame, please advise overall mattress dimension
7.  Finish Selection

NOTE: Your faxed order is considered as your original purchase order. If you send the order via email after faxing it to us, you need to mark it as duplicate copy and have the purchase order noted with fax date.
Upon receiving your order,  Mandalay Home Furnishings will issue a sales order to confirm that we have received and started processing your order.   Should there be any discrepancies on the sales order, please notify us within 48 hours.
Mandalay Home Furnishings, Inc. can only accept changes on the order under circumstances where written confirmation must be received before any changes can be acted upon. Confirmation of cancellation must be approved and returned to customer by Mandalay Home Furnishings, Inc.

Payment Terms:

All orders must be prepaid prior to shipping. All past due amounts are subject to a 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance.
All prices are subject to change without notice.

Cancellation Terms:

All orders submitted via fax or email are considered final and binding. Written consent must be given by Mandalay Home Furnishings, Inc, before an order is considered cancelled.

Shipping & Freight Charges:

Mandalay Home Furnishings, Inc. will advise the approximate shipping charges. We will ship by the most economical and dependable blanket-wrapped carrier available. Should you have other carrier that you would like us to use for your shipment; you need to advise us in advance. However, the carrier must be a blanket-wrapped carrier since our products are not boxed.

All shipments are made FOB Origin (Garden Grove), freight collect. Freight charges are determined by the delivering carrier's tariff. Without prior credit approval from the carrier, freight charges are normally collected upon delivery of product. Thus, it is advisable that a credit payment and billing arrangement be established with the delivering carrier prior to shipment. Third Party Billing is an available option in the case where an account with the carrier already exists. "NO PREPAID FREIGHT".

Freight Claims:

Mandalay Home Furnishings, Inc. inspects all items prior to shipping and our responsibility for all merchandise ceases when the shipment is received and signed "in a good condition upon receipt of goods" by the carrier. All shipment should be opened and inspected as soon as they are received. If any damage to merchandise is found, either apparent or concealed, YOU NEED TO SUBMIT A CLAIM TO THE CARRIER PROMPTLY.   Mandalay Home Furnishings, Inc. WILL NOT be responsible for claims of damage during transit or storage. Should visual inspection show loss or damage, we advise you to note the damage on the freight bill and have the carrier agent signed it as your supporting document when you file the freight claim with the carrier.

If there is the slightest suspicion of damage but the carrier will not wait while the merchandise is inspected, you must insist on the driver to wait until the item is properly inspected. We ship mostly with blanket wrapped carrier; it is the driver's responsibility to wait until the items are inspected. Any damages must be clearly noted on the freight bill before the driver leaves your location. If the damage is severe and you feel that it cannot be easily repaired locally, please refuse the shipment.
In addition, you must notify us immediately (within 24 hours of delivery) when the item was received damage.
Please note that if the damage is not noted at the time of delivery, we have no recourse with the freight carrier and no claims will be honored.

Notification of factory defect or error and inspection must be made within 5 days of receipt of goods. Failure to do so will constitute full acceptance of the merchandise.

Product Warranty Information:

Our product are inspected prior to shipping. Once the carrier signed off that products are received in good conditions; we are no longer responsible for the future condition of the products.

Due to the nature of solid wood that are partially used throughout the products, changes in relative humidity may cause some splitting and cracking. We will not perform service or replacement due to these nature.
Our products are not intended for commercial use.

All returns must obtain a "Return Merchandise Authorization" (RMA) prior to return of merchandise. Failure to obtain authorization may result in refusal of return. All returns are subject to 25% restocking fee. Customer may obtain "RMA" by contacting a customer sales representative via phone at (714) 901-3698. Mandalay Home Furnishings, Inc. may elect to authorize repair or make other arrangements in lieu of return.

Customer will be issued a merchandise credit upon the return of the merchandise; no refund will be issued. All return must be sent with prepaid freight by customer.

All merchandise are produced for indoor use only.
